Historic Longwood Estate

Longwood House, a historic Federal-style farmhouse circa 1815, is home to Longwood University’s president and his family. Our charge was to update the home in a manner that supported not only the young family living there but also the university community and guests for special events frequently held at the home. Select early antiques and an impressive art collection from the University conveyed with the project, and we enhanced these elements with appointments that honor the history of the home and increase the functionality, flow, and appeal of the space.
